Ask Dr. Tseday: December 1, 2009
TBB from Baltimore, MD asks: My friends listen to the details of this one friend’s affair with a married guy. They even enjoy listening about the private stuff. But I don’t want to hear it. If I don’t, I know we’re going to stop hanging out. So what do you do when you lose friends because of your belief?
Dr. Tseday responds: Never compromise your values and it’s fantastic that you stand for what you believe despite the outcome. So find yourself new friends, making sure your values are similar.
