Ask Dr. Tseday: November 3, 2009
TK from Placentia, CA asks: My daughter wants to go to a 2-year college just to be with her best friend and then transfer to a 4-year college. She’s capable of being in a 4-year college, which I want for her. I’m not sure what to do. Your opinion?
Dr. Tseday responds: What is key is picking a type of college that best suits youngsters. If her only reason is to follow her friends, I say 4-year college. She can still keep in touch with her friend while making new ones.
