TA from Chino, CA asks: My brother-in-law asked us if he could come and stay with us for a little bit. He’s had problems with drugs and I don’t want him around our family. My husband is willing to let him stay for few weeks, but I don’t think even that’s a good idea. Don’t you think so?
Dr. Tseday responds: I think so, too. Don’t open your home to potential problem. Your and your husband’s priority is to protect the family. If you do want to help your brother-in-law by finding him a place to stay, put him up in a motel.
