MS from Memphis, TN asks: My sister and I haven’t talked for seven years. I’ve left her many message to call me back over the years, but she hasn’t. How long do I keep trying?
Dr. Tseday responds: Don’t try anymore. Realize that each of us decide how to be. She has decided not to call. Accept her decision. There’s no point going on and on wondering about her or being upset. It’ll put your life on hold and disappoint you at the end. So go about your own life.
