Ask Dr. Tseday: April 1, 2009
KO from Chino Hills, CA asks: My 2-year-old acts really bratty when we go out to eat. She throws stuff around and doesn’t sit still. What do you think we should do at home so that she learns to behave better in public?
Dr. Tseday responds: You are asking from you daughter what she is not capable of giving you at this age. The solution is simple: do not take her to a restaurant. She’s not ready. If you want to go, do so without her.
