Ask Dr. Tseday: May 4, 2009
BD from Chino Hills, CA asks: My wife had an affair one year, two months, and five days ago. And yes, I’m counting because I can’t get over it. I’m still angry. What can I do to forget it?
Dr. Tseday responds: Maybe in time the affair would not be at the forefront, but I doubt you will forget. What is important is knowing that you get to decide how intensely and how long to hang on to it. It does not have to keep being important unless you want it to be.
